For the last Second Listen song of the week we once again feature our Coyote Spotlight Artist Jordan Fletcher. His 6 song EP “Classic” was released at the end of September 2024 and was a culmination of 5 years of work. Initially it was songwriting and trying to find the right voice for his songs and all the while, they were just waiting for his voice. Jordan said in an interview that “No Place Like Home” one one of his favorite tracks on the EP. Something personal. Simple. Honest.

“I always thought it’d feel the same
Driving down the street again
How’d I go from ride the wind to
Hung up on remember when?
I wish it was this little town that I miss
But it’s time and it’s come and it’s gone
Now I know what they mean when they say
There ain’t no place like home
Now I know what they mean when they say
There ain’t no place like home”

Missed it the first time? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! Welcome to Second Listen—where we
take a deeper dive into the tracks that deserve another spin. New releases, hidden gems, and the
sounds you need to hear again! It’s time to rediscover the music that’s worth a second listen—it all
comes your way weekday mornings at 11:20 Eastern with Lew Hastings.
