Luke Bryan revealed that his new album, Mind Of a Country Boy, will drop on Sept. 27.

Bryan posted on his socials: “Y’all will finally know what’s on my mind. The Mind Of A Country Boy ALBUM will be out on 9/27. It’s been a long time coming. Pre-save / pre-order and you’ll get #ClosingTimeInCalifornia now. #MindOfACountryBoy”

Produced by father-son production team Jeff and Jody Stevens, Mind of a Country Boy marks Bryan‘s eighth studio album. Bryan shares: “I’ve been able to take my time and really compile songs. If it’s a song that I cut two or three years ago, and I still love it, and it still sounds fresh, then I feel like it’ll stand the test of time. I think this album, as I’ve tried to do with all my albums, just has a little bit of everything. I do some things different vocally on this one that I’ve not done before. It’s about each song having its place and having its meaning. It’s trying not to be overly redundant with songs. I think that’s why I’ve been blessed to have a long career and what I feel like this album’s going to do.”

Mind of a Country Boy features Bryan’s hit single “Love You, Miss You, Mean It,” as well as the Top 5 hits “But I Got a Beer In My Hand” and “Country On.” Other songs on the album include the title track, “Mind of a Country Boy,” which Bryan co-wrote with Dallas Davidson, Ben Hayslip, and Rhett Akins.

Mind of a Country Boy will be released during Bryan’s 2024 Farm Tour, which includes stops in Kentucky, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, and Ohio, with proceeds going towards supporting the communities that host the shows.
